today was spent fixing errors. I had some subs which were misnamed and I had to go through 40 pages and find out what they were supposed to be called.

Today I went through all of my subs and replaced .clicked with .checked. Considering I have 30 + pages of code this took all class.

I added about ten new subs today in my pseudo code.

Final project update 2

Today for my final project I worked on making pseudo code. I added ten subs for my game. I also added a small loop.

Final Project

I would like to make a text based game. The goal of the game is to sell the Brookline Bridge. The painting will be a boolean and once it is sold the boolean will become true and the game will end. The game will present players with numerous options of where to go and what to say to characters which you interact with. The player will have dialogue options depending on who they talk to. The game will utilize randoms by having a random chance to of success when trying to sell the bridge. If you have sweet talked the person enough they will have a higher chance to buy the bridge. This game will utilize equations by having a visual basic sphinx which asks math questions to the player at random times and also questions about visual basic concepts. If you answer enough of the sphinx’s questions correct he may buy the bridge.

Chapter 4 Reflection

I am comfortable with if then else statements. I frequently use them. I also am quite comfortable and frequently used nested statements. I am comfortable with booleans and relational operators. I am comfortable with select case and select case is. I have no confusion on static variables, counter variables. or generating random numbers. Checkbox and message box are both very simple.
